Default Anyone here understand PHP?

I don't really know much about it, and I'm trying to add a loop into a php file, but every time I try, it ends up ruining the file, preventing the page from loading properly (I keep getting parse errors).

After finally playing around with it, I was able to get it working fairly properly, but not completely right, so deleted that, to start over again.

So is there anyone here that would be able to help me? I could provide the PHP file, and the code I was trying to add, and I'm sure someone that knows even the slightest bit will be able to figure it out in a second.

Honestly, get on a PHP mailing list. I did that with C when I first started out asking questions, and it helped a lot. Also don't be afraid to buy a tome from B&N for reference. I've got about 10 programming books that I still use on a regular basis looking things up.

Thanks guys. The extent of my webpage knowledge is the old fashioned HTML. I ended up changing my mind about what I was trying to add earlier.

Well perhaps I am too late then, but Santeria's suggestion to check out W3Schools is a good one. I've learned a lot from them, and I've got a really firm grasp on CSS and HTML. Only a tiny, tiny, tiny bit of PHP, though. Good luck!
