Hi all,
I was curious about how people approach the supply of power to their projectors... I've got a power conditioner, so naturally I'd like to have the projector plugged in there to protect it. However, the projector cable isn't long enough to reach. For now I've got a large gauge extension cord going from the projector power cable to the APC H10 - but I figure there's gotta be a better way... Could/should one make an extra long power cord (with the right plug to fit into the back of the projector) that reaches to the power conditioner without need for an extension cord? I see some folks planned ahead and had an outlet installed in the ceiling right next to the projector. Do these folks have that outlet running through some form of protection, or is it like any other outlet in the house? Any suggestions or ideas/pictures would be greatly appreciated! Cheers!
