Hi has anyone on here bought this yet? I'm on the post about getting it but I can't find any reviews for it.

I sure hope they did a new transfer. The original SDVD looked very soft. Great movie though!!!

will pick it up at bestbuy tomorrow, so won't know anything more about the PQ & AQ for ya till wed. morning.

I got mine last week, but haven't had an opportunity to watch it yet. I will watch tonight and post impressions tommorow.

For those not familiar with the movie, it's about a pair of Irish brothers from Boston who become vigilantes and are assisted by an Italian with an electric Iron. They are being chased by a homosexual fbi agent(?, can't remember if that is correct) played by Willem Dafoe and a mob assassin who is set free to kill them. It's very crude, very violent, and very funny, just the way i like it.

The original DVD was non-anamorphic and came out like 8 years ago. Of course they did a new transfer.

saw a copy of it at blockbusters for sale on Friday. didnt get it though, no cash.

Well I received mine today and must say that the PQ and AQ are a huge improvement. I never had the SEDVD but I had the original that came out, and I must say HUGE IMPROVEMENT on the visual side. I don't have my surround sound yet so anything special I can't comment on but. I love the way it looks. This is one of my favorites, probably TOP 7 all time... I'm from Boston so maybe that sways it alil.

Blockbuster is gonna have it for $24.99 I pre-ordered my copy i'm gonna pick up my copy tom. It's gonna be great

I saw it at Blockbuster tonight, they had it at a regular price for $24.99.

Best Buy will have it on sale tomorrow for the same price, but it will regularly be $29.99.

I'll buy it at Best Buy manana, but only b/c I have a gift card. The prices on their BDs are ridiculous, and even though I'm a reward zone member, I'll probably start taking my busniess elsewhere unless they do something about this.
