I bought this new set from Severin solely for Michael Winterbottom's first film, BUTTERFLY KISS, which is included.

I'll leave discussion of the other three films to others, I have too much of a backlog of other BDs to watch, I'll never watch the other discs here, but I don't regret for a minute spending $60 just for Butterfly Kiss.

It's a loaded special edition of the film.

The film itself has a brand new 2K scan from the OCN, done by the BFI. It blows away the only other BD of the film, a French disc from 2017, which used an ancient HD master.

The film itself is a forgotten minor masterpiece, I'm glad Severin has given it new life here.

The interviews are each about 20 minutes long. Everyone involved with the film speaks of it with great love and clarity of memory.

The disc is labeled as all-region, and each disc is individually packaged within the cardboard case, with a separate barcode on the back, suggesting they may become available separately someday.

BTW, I've seen every one of Michael Winterbottom's features and TV works, I'm kind of a superfan, haha, and I still think the finale of this film is the best thing he's ever done.

Legendary DP Seamus McGarvey agrees in his interview, saying the final shot is "the most beautiful shot that I've ever witnessed through my camera."
