Default Help Me Out!!!

Ok boys & girls. I've got some money to spend on myself for once (tax return & anniversary gift from wife).

Based on PQ & SQ, which of the following would be the best bang for my buck??

Constantine
Fantastic 4
Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer
Flags of our Fathers (haven’t seen)
Hitman
Hulk vs. (haven't seen)
Letters from Iwo Jima (haven’t seen)
Madagascar
Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (haven't seen)
Shawshank Redemption
Star Wars: Clone Wars (haven’t seen)
Superman Returns
Top Gun (haven't seen)
Underworld
Underworld: Evolution

Madagascar, & Top Gun are both @ Wal-Mart for $15, so they seem to be a pretty descent deal price wise. I also think either Flags of our Fathers or Letters from Iwo Jima are there as well.

I've noted the ones I haven't seen as of yet, the others I'm contemplating upgrading from DVD to Blu-Ray.

Thanks for the input.

Save it up and wait until something you want is released.

How is it you've never managed to see Top Gun? That one's a staple.

From your list, I'd go with that one, Constantine and Shawshank. Underworld looks pretty damn spiffy also.

ive watched it. definitely a step up from the dvd, but not spectacular. if you already have the 2 disc vista dvd i wouldnt recommend the upgrade unless you really like the movie or get it on a deal.

Madagascar
Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa (haven't seen)
Shawshank Redemption
Star Wars: Clone Wars (haven’t seen)
Superman Returns
Top Gun (haven't seen)
Underworld
Underworld: Evolution

they're good, i consider letters to be far superior to flags. if you like clint eastwood films i'd def jump on them, but many have been disappointed by flags because it "wasn't what they thought it would be." i thought it was good, but barely left any kind of impact on me (whereas letters did).

i'd go with superman returns. and then flags of our fathers. they are two of my favorite films of all time. excellent, excellent movies. i can't speak about the picture quality, as i don't have them yet. not for lack of trying or what not. i've seen flags of our fathers on numerous occasions but either shelled out for something else or didn't have the cash at the time. someday soon though.

Go with the The Shawshank Redemption, it's a good one to start with.
