What's the diffrence in RGB and composite? - Blu-ray Forum

thinking on getting a RGB scart lead for my PS3 when i get it, and wonderd if RGB scart would look any better than the composite cables it comes with. Using a 21" CRT screen.

With a decent RGB SCART you'll get a sharper overall picture, no visible interference on things that typically show it up like text, red or teal colours. With composite it's a bit like having running ants all over the detail.

ok thanks, might do a test tonight with my DVD running through composite then RGB.

Running ants may not have been the best description, the picture there shows it pretty clearly anyway.

thanks, i can notice the diffrenve between composite and RGB. RGB seems to be brighter with to lines
