Default POTC Free Movie Ticket Offer

I was in Best Buy today hoping to snag Road Warrior early, and I saw that they had free movie tickets for POTC-3 with the purchase of certain other Disney/Buena Vista DVD's. The back of the package had an ad for the Pirates blu-ray releases on 5/22, but said that the blu-ray purchases don't qualify for the free ticket offer. Hopefully that means that free ticket coupons will be included in the case with the BD's. We'll see in a couple weeks I guess.

BTW - My local BB won't be stocking Road Warrior apparently. I saw someone else mention the same thing in the forum last week. Sort of odd being that BB (at least mine anyway) is pretty supportive of Blu.

This surprises me, not having a free ticket/BD purchase offer. You figure that would be just a little more incentive to get people buying BD. I'm w/ you in hoping it's in the BD case, or something of that sort.

Welp, Best Buy has been slackin' here for me, not delivering movies like donnie brasco, a scanner darkly, and incubus alive at red rock. But in reality i buy them off amazon and save about 8 bucks everytime.

You can get Road Warrior for $20. at Amazon. Any reason Best Buy won't be stocking it? I kinda like going in and browsing at titles. Impulse buys happen that way.

You're living in the same world I am. I try to support my local BB in hopes that they'll push Blu-ray as their BD sales jump, but they often drop the ball for me. Still 50/50 in terms of shelf space w/ HD-DVD. However only Blu-ray has a setup on actual TVs and there are 2.
