Cool! Gotta get me that one for sure! But, I wish they put some of their even older albums on BD-A... Farewell to Kings is my all-time favorite Rush album (Xanadu on 5.1 BD-A would be jaw-droppingly awesome!), 2112 and Fly by Night albums too...

why?
as long as it's hi-resolution audio, i'm fine with it. i'd prefer both a stereo and surround mix though in hi resolution. rush is my #1 band of all time. can't wait for this ![]() Last edited by frank_t; 02-22-2011 at 02:25 AM. |

I don't know why they've never went the SACD route....they've always been on the leading edge. They had a number of laserdiscs before a lot of people even knew what laserdisc was for example. |

Most high ends systems have options to turn off video processing so as not to interfere with the audio stream - giving you the purest possible sound. Listening to music on Blu-ray just seems counter productive in that aspect. In addition I want my music in Stereo. These releases tend to focus on the surround mixing and Stereo is an afterthought. And SACD is higher quality than DD Stereo. Last edited by Pondosinatra; 02-19-2011 at 05:21 PM. |
