Music Editing Programs - Need One that Converts Bitrates (i.e., 128 to 96) - Blu-ray Forum

For the process of making ringtones, not because I like compressed audio. I edit my songs using audacity, but my silly phone only accepts a max of 300kb file size for ringtones, so I have to compress them a bit and take out a second or two.

Musicmatch, which is what I used to use, doesn't ^&@# work with Vista.

Anything to find on CNETs downloads.com?

burn it to a cd and use windows media player to rip it...you can set the bit-rate before you do the rip...

Winamp does the same thing...

I use Sony sound forge for the same thing. Works great for me.
