Default Political Biopics? Who's next?

Who's the next politcal figure: who will get a biopic? Winston Churchill, Lincoln, Washington, or more modern folks?

Note: I know of Spielberg's Lincoln (2011). Thanks.

Well it might not be right this second but you can bet the farm that President Barrack Obama will get his life made into a movie down the line.

It's very strange we have not see a movie on Winston Chruchill yet. Like him or dislike him he was a large (no pun intended ) figure of the 20th Century.

Good point! I know.

There's a Ghandi (1982) picture, but no Winston Churchill flick??

That would be a definite Oscar picture. ...You would think.

But perhaps, that time has passed.

I think think Will Smith could do a better job than Cheadle. Don doesn't have the voice. lol

Who could do that movie.... thats a thread onto itself I think.

Smith is too comic in his face. He doesn't have that X dramatic factor. Plus, he's already done Ali (2001), Pursuit of Happyness (2006). Once, you've done a few biopics. It's like being engaged to those characters. A new one is difficult.

Anyway, what other historical figures need the treatment? You think?

The voice is something that can be worked on.

If you don't have the right presence: on-screen. That can't. I'm afraid.

I'd like to see that.

You could make quite a film out of that.

guarantee theres at least one of these in the works now, there are tons of storys out there of cities naming streets and such after him, so jumping the gun doesnt seem to be any obstacle, im not trying to make any kind of political statement by the way, i just think people should wait until the things he does in office start to take effect before we start doing these kinds of things

I'm waiting for the Blagojevich TV movie. Maybe they can even get Rob to play himself, now that he has the free time.

Am I the only one that thinks an Obama movie wouldn't be that interesting? Aside from setting history, and being a likable person, I don't think there's much in his story that would make for a great movie.

Yes too soon.

But with the Countries current situation, he will be a "remembered" President. He will come out of this either a Hero, or a sacrificial lamb....all depends on the "recovery".
