A question about TEXAS (the soap) - Blu-ray Forum

OK, we were just having a chat here at the office about old soap operas and I brought up Texas and started telling folks about it but no one remembered. while I was telling them about a crazy rubix cube that was killing people I thought, I must look this up on the web. I found it on Wiki but no mention of the Cube. I thought the series ended at a wedding where the powers of the cube killed everyone and that was the end, haha. If that's not from Texas then what is it from?...no, not Hellraiser, haha.

no, apparently that's what they wanted to create was a show like dallad only a daytime series.

indeed. I've found out a little more about it for those who are interested. Apparently the cube was called the Fire Compass and it would lead the holder to oil, haha. good stuff. anyway, one of the characters tried to take it apart to find out wehat made it tick and it released a gas turning him into a mummy. as for the whole wedding thing, I might be mixing that up with a season ender of Dynasty where everyone got shot up and killed.
