I think with a change in thread title, it could have been allowed to continue but i ain't a mod so can't decide but what i do know is that article also mentioned having some new extras added in to the game should it actually go to the 360 at all which is as likely as pigs flying.

They'd struggle to fit the game propely onto DVDs let alone any worthy extras.

If it comes to the 360 theyll probably only put a quarter of the game in disk, charge $60 for it and release three other qauters of the game online and charge like $25 for each one.... cuz thats m$

MS said they will support whatever wins the format war. So the X360 will be getting Blu-ray in future, so its a valid discussion subject.

Maybe with a change name the thread could still be active, which could have been done. I wonder if anyone asked him to change the title, probably not. Rumors of games going to Xbox 360, are we not allowed to post rumors?

I made a thread asking where the XBox, Wii, & DS forums went and it was closed within a Half hour. I still think with we're taking out all non-Blu-ray forums, then we need to get read of PSP, since it doesn't play Blu-ray movies or game.

P.S. I think it's funny also.

This ain't a rumor. It's the attempt to create a rumor. Same as if someone posted a thread about how Fox will be making HD DVD versions of all their discs by august.

In a recent article in EGM, I think it was Peter Moore who stated that Microsoft will never support Blu-Ray therefore closing any rumor about the Blu-Ray add on. He stated they will only support Hd-Dvd. Which begs the question, why couldn't they put the games on Hd-Dvd discs to begin with? If Sony could put titles on Blu-Ray and still charge the same amount why couldn't Microsoft do the same with the 360 intead of releasing it as an add on? The fact that the games are all on Dvd-Rom would mean that a game like MGS 4 would lack the overall quality of the game. Since a single layer Blu-Ray holds almost as much data as a dual layer HD-Dvd the games are going to have better quality all around. Provided the publisher is able to put Blu-Ray to full use.

it's not a rumor when someone like you and me makes it up....it's just fantasy...

rumors are things that are being discussed and someones speaks up on the possibility.....

instead...this is stuff that someone pulled from their ass....

I know you have a 360 and feel the need to stand up for that...

regardless if there is a bias towards the PS3....that still doesn't doesn't make this MGS/360 stuff a rumor...it's just plain BS..

If it's not a rumor than the thread should be closed, I personally don't care if MS4 is on the 360 or not. IF it was, I'll probably pick it up for the PS3 anyways.

Honestly, I don't feel the need to defend the 360. I usually try to say in the middle and try to make people see a different point of view. I guess it would seem like I'm defending the 360, but that's because I'm on a 80 to 90% PS3 site. There's almost no need to defend the PS3 because so many people are defending it.
It seems some are too far on one side of the field. For example, Universal is supporting HD-DVD. I read postings saying Universal sucks, they don't have good movies anyways let HD-DVD keep them, etc, etc... Universal may be on a losing side, but I really doubt anyone can say Universal has no good movies. I'm sure they have at least one movie for everyone. I count at least 15 currently on HD-DVD that I want.

There are universal films i would like in HD, but there no way im spending mony on a hd dvd player. Not even an add on for my 360. I love movies and all, but i think one format would be better for everyone. That being said i still love my gears of war and halo!

exactly...I'm not saying you are biased....I'm just saying there's some 360 bashing on this site....and it almost could be encouraged by looking at the name of the site...but you own a 360, so you're sticking up for what you spent your hard earned money on...

and I also agree with you about Universal....but I would say they suck because they are the last piece holding back BD...aside from WB shenanigans...

but I don't like most of Universals recent movies....their older movies would be picked up by me...

but in the last 5 years, Universal hasn't put out many movies that I own....or have owned...

yuup...even if I was told that Universal would NEVER join BD, I'd still buy my BD player, because that's 1 studio I won't be buying from.....not a handful, like some other company
