Default Dolby Digital 2.0 problem with the ps3
Hello All

Been lurking here for awhile but finally needed to post.

I need your help.

I have a PS3 connected via HDMI to a Yamaha HTR-6140 amp. All is well except when I play my T.V. show DVD's that have only Dolby Digital 2.0 soundtracks. The sound keeps cutting out on these disks and no matter what I do I can't seem to fix it.

The HDMI output on the PS3 is set to Linear PCM

If I play them on my Toshiba HD-D3 they play fine with the 2.0 so it dosn't seem to be the amp

Do I have to play these Disks in a different mode or do I have a problem with my PS3.

Any help would be apreciated
