iPhone worth it? - Blu-ray Forum

Woman is bugging for a blackberry but she doesnt need data. Unfortunately verizon wont let you get a blackberry without the mandatory data plan and their data plan is quite pricey. Im debating switching us to ATT for iphones but then I would have to pay the ETF. One upside of the iphone I guess would be mobile blu-ray.com lol

you have to get the data plan with the iPhone as well

being able to go on blu-ray.com anywhere is one of my fav parts of my iPhone

Ya but its still way cheaper than the verizon data plan, plus verizon limits you on everything!

I was looking at the iphone but at&t plans are too expensive.

I wouldn't know about the data plans for verizon, but I think that my unlimited data for the iPhone is $40, how much does verizon charge??

iphone? not so much.

itouch? definatly.

those atandt plans get very expensive in the long run, thats how they get the phone to you so cheap.

I have an ipod touch already, im see maybe getting a blackberry storm. damn phones!! Woman cant decide what she wants.

If its capabilities are going to be used, I still think the iPhone is the best phone I've ever used. My new G1 is pretty close, though . . .

If she's not going to use the data features though it's kind of pointless.

At my company we pay 30 dollars per month for unlimited data on the iPhones. Not terrible, but not great. I think we do the best with T-Moble @ 19.99 per month for unlimited data.

And yes, the iPhone is the best phone I have ever owned and I have had many...

T-Mobile isn't 19.99 anymore. They just changed their prices a few months ago. Still cheaper than AT&T though.

Suggest you wait. Rumors are likely Apple will release a new version of the iPhone this summer. It's happened the last two summers as well and it's pretty widely speculated this is going to happen.

It shouldn't impact you now. T-Mobile grandfathers you so that the only way your bill changes is if you actually make a change. The new data plans for smartphones though are $24.99 for unlimited data/email and 400 messages, and $34.99 for the same with unlimited messages.

i've been eyeballing the storm for awhile, but i know as soon as i get it. verizon and apple will announce that the iphone is coming to verizon.

i'm willing to hold out for an iphone on verizon before i get a bb storm.

yes, last night, a friend just got one. it just feels different after using an itouch or iphone. i have an itouch so i'm used to the apple feel. the storm, while not bad, it's just different and would take some getting used to.
