Good news, thanks!

Nothing at the BVA yet http://www.bva.org.uk/node/517346 but the British censor has censored (or "classified" if you like to be corrupt) new 2010 material which looks interesting http://www.bbfc.co.uk/website/Classi...D?OpenDocument As the actress said to the bishop, bit short though.

Always liked this film. Top top end cast. Very rare to get a film with such a great cast.

HMV like listing things a bit too quickly but hopefully they have it right.

Let's not forget Thomas Newman's amazing score for this! The music is half the movie!

More like a third. Conrad L. Hall's amazing cinematography (his last movie, by the way) and the wonderful cast have to be mentioned as well .

Watched it the other night on DVD and can't wait for this Blu-ray release! I thought both Tom Hanks and Paul Newman were superb! And yes, I agree with the soundtrack and the amazing cinematography as well!

and also, it seems it your typical Fox release for Europe or EU disc, with ENGLISH in DTS HD MA and the other tracks in normal DTS. Also means it will be uncut, one version for EU.......

Not necessarily. Braveheart had at least two European releases: German/French and Italian/Spanish. Both with English DTS MA, of course.

Warner, Paramount and (to a lesser extent) Universal do pan-European releases often. Sony, Disney and Fox don't.

Jeez, don't need to get all mad and all. I've never had to deal with region stuff before. The films I have (Island and Stardust) all were perfectly confirmed to be region free so I wasn't confused.

There's no need to say things like that, especially as poland626 makes a valid point. Until we see a physical copy, we cannot be 100% certain of whether the ABC logo will be present or not. Many pre-orders have back cover art displaying a single region, but then the final art is reworked with the ABC logo, or even more often in the case of Region-free titles, the cover art is mistakenly marked as region-locked.

Also, perhaps you are aware of the Breaking Bad situation in the USA. Sony's artwork shows that both seasons Blu-ray releases are Region ABC, but all the discs are Region A Locked.
