Default Upsampling standard definition content on BD

Hi,

I currently have a region B PS3, and am considering purchasing either a multi-region Sony BDP-S550, or a Panasonic DMP-BD55.

The PS3 will upsample DVDs to 1080p, but will not upsample standard definition video that's on a Blu-ray disc (hopefully a future firmware update will address that)

So my question is:

Will either the Sony BDP-S550 or Panasonic DMP-BD55 upsample standard definition bonus features on a Blu-ray disc to 1080p?

Thanks for your help

Liz
