It won't, it will just be the game itself, very little, to no other types of promo. Plus, this isn't the annual release of the actual game. The one that will actually feature the game in its entirety will come as a 2-disc, alone with 3 other games.

And by audio issues you mean the excessive use of auto-tune and Fergie's voice? That performance was AWEFUL. Seriously, live music should be about the music not a visual spectacle. I guess that's like, my opinion, man.

My wife is a lifelong Packer fan, so this is a must-have, but we're also looking forward to the deluxe version that you're referring to.

It will be very similar in structure to this:
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/NFL-S...-Blu-ray/8118/ just a highlight reel, nothing more |

But the whole auto tuning (I call it 'T-Paining') effect is sorta their gimmick at the moment. Every BEP live performance is the same. I blame Fox for all the audio drop-outs. the sound kept dropping out during Slash's guitar riff too! too bad...

I blame the Black Eyed Peas, Jerry Jones, the NFL, Fox, and yes! Roger Goodell for allowing that atrocious performance to take place. If I hear that stupid song played one more time at any major sporting event/network charity concert I think I'm going to go bonkers. They should all be ashamed of themselves for allowing such a gimmicky/fad-tastic band to perform at the f-ing "Super" Bowl. If the game wasn't so great (as it was) I would say the whole thing was just one epic failure.

Whether its their gimmick right now or not, it still sounds like crap, to me at least. But then again, that style of music is not my thing. Guess I just don't understand why it sounds so good. I mean, generally, auto-tune is done because the artist can't sing worth a crap. *cough* Kanye *cough* P-Diddy *cough*

It should be like the Saints Superbowl Blu-ray referred to in a previous post with a look at the history of the franchise, season/playoff highlights, and finally superbowl highlights, interviews, and such. There will eventually be another release with the entire Superbowl XLV (sans commercials) and a couple full playoff games or so.

1: the later release, it'll have full games for the playoffs as well?? 2: does this version also include what is put on the original release?? my perfect version would be highlights & interviews on the full season and then have a disc w/the playoff games & super bowl. |

The two previous Super Bowls, there has been a Blu-ray released that is just a season highlight review basically, and then a little while later, a 2-disc Blu-ray set is released that includes four full games. For example, the 2008-09 set included the Steelers' Week 15 game against the Ravens, and then all three playoff games they played, including the Super Bowl. The 2009-10 set included the Saints' Week 13 game against the Redskins, and then all three playoff games they played, including the Super Bowl. Obviously, the trend has been 1 regular season game, and 3 playoff games, because those teams were never in the Wild Card game. My thoughts are that since Green Bay had 4 playoff games, this year's set will be just those 4 games, and no regular season games. Ideally, I'd like these sets to have been 3-disc sets that included more regular season games, but the current format is cool. This just means that as a Packers fan, you'll be getting all four of their playoff games, which is still great. Hopefully that's what they do. As a fan of football, I've been considering buying these sets, and I just picked up both of the Saints sets from Barnes & Noble for a decent price. I hope that explains it clearly enough. If you have any more questions, PM me. |
