From the comments in the movie thread, the unrated version sounds next to no different-just 2 mins more sex and a couple seconds here or there.

I have the Vudu 4K for now and am fingers crossed for some 4K disc release somewhere along the line.

I actually popped in to this thread just to see if there were any early rumblings of a European label that might be pushing this title out in 4k uhd. It's B. Cronenberg, after all. A German 4k in short order wouldn't surprise me in the least, although I have no idea who the rights holders are for purposes of a possible European 4k distro deal.

This could still be released both uncut AND on 4K here, despite the digital and theatrical being cut. Not sure yet obviously but I’m just basing this theory on two things: the fact that Neon don’t have a habit of releasing censored versions of their films on disc yet as far as I’m aware, as they already released the uncut version of Pleasure, and the fact that they announced and released Crimes of the Future on 4K after having already released the blu-ray, which could signal the start of a new strategy on their part.

I might have to hold out for a 4K release on this one—I abstained from the Crimes of the Future Blu-ray, and was pleasantly surprised when the 4K dropped recently. I was glad I didn't get the Blu-ray, especially because the 4K came with a bunch of bonus features that were not present on the Blu. I saw this in theaters last month and really enjoyed it.

UK version is not cut so the cinema release end of March is uncut.
Possessor was also released on blu ray uncut but no 4k in UK. So I had to import US edition. I hope there is a 4k uncut of this in UK or Europe so dont have to pay double by importing from US
I think US will get uncut later on but odd they releasing the R Rated cut first.
