Got My New Receiver! (Pioneer Elite VSX-21) Speakers on the way. - Blu-ray Forum

I got my new Receiver,

I ain't hooked it up yet, i think i might wait til my B&W 684's arrive mid next week, and just hook them up all at once. I can't wait to plug it in and listen to it blow away my current HTIB.

I will add pictures of the speakers when i get them also.

Next thing to upgrade center speaker and blu-ray player.

Nice...i'm thinking of that receiver or the 23 next for my bedroom. Sell my Marantz and put sc-05 in the living room. You'll enjoy the receiver and the b&w's as many have here on this forum with the same gear...congrats.

I don't know if i can hold out for very much longer. It's just sitting there wanting me to hook it up, but i wanna wait for my speakers.

when i got my elite vsx 01 i was in the same position you are. ended up with a real ghetto sony stereo speaker set up. it worked for a time but my SVS brought a whole new life as im sure those b&w's will (almost went with those in the audition)

You should be extremely happy with the Elites performance as well as the huge number of options and adjustments it has

Congrats on becoming an Elitist! You should be very happy with a Pioneer receiver, especially because you are coming from a HTiB. I love my SC-05, as it runs cool and has lots of features and power. By the way, you have some really nice speakers coming as well. I would love to get some B&W's down the road. Awesome upgrades!

Nice choice w/ your AVR. I have an VSX-01TXH and I love it!!! Pioneer sure knows how to make some sexy A/V gear.
