Default Best Place to Buy I-Pod Touch?

I am looking to get a 16 GB 2nd generation I-Pod Touch and want to know the best place to buy from? Amazon has it for $329 (crap...I think it was $279 just a couple of days ago). They also have the 32GB version for $369. Would it be the better deal to just go with the 32GB or is there another place I can get the 16GB for $269 or $279? Thanks.

Amazon's prices change constantly, so if you're patient it should probably drop back down. However if you need one now I'd spend the extra $40 to double the memory.

1st or 2nd generation? If 2nd, then that is one hell of a deal!

I personally prefer the Apple Retail Stores, simpy cause they're also the manufacturer and usually I've noticed that price wise, they'll round the price down to the nearest dollar- for example the set price could be $249.99 at most, if not all retailers (ipods are one of those things where the price is the same everywhere), they'll have it for $249.00, so you can save a buck or so there, plus they have the best service and accsesories.

On a related subject, check http://bestappever.com/awards/.

iPod Touch was my Christmas present and I've been having a ton of fun with applications. I also purchased a SONOS bridge and ZP90 zone to connect into my home theater. I am streaming iTunes to my home theater and the iPod Touch makes a nice SONOS remote controller. iPod Touch is very, very cool.

I have not seen too many deal other than Amazon pricing.

Just purchased mine at the Apple store last weekend, LOVE IT!

Although, definitely check Best Buy this week, if you can find a store that has them in stock, the 32GB is going for $379
