The guy just won an Oscar, and that likely means everyone in Hollywood is beating a path to his door in an effort to get him directing their movie.

Since the series started back up in '95 after a six year hiatus,they've had five different directors for six movies.
Personally I'd love to see Martin Campbell come back and direct a few more as in my opinion he's done the best two in that period.

Isn't the Sun a terrible source? I'm indifferent on the matter since I missed Quantum of Solace but noticed that immediately.

If this is true then I'm all for it. I really like Danny Boyle and he has done some of my favorite films in recent history that show off his range as a director with Shallow Grave, Trainspotting, and Sunshine.

My big hope is that Paul Haggis can write a good screenplay again or that Mr. Boyle finds a capable one. Haggis did a good co-adaptation in Casino Royale, but he preached his goofy left wing environmental stuff in Quantum when he had the writing job all to himself just like he did with his left wing military stuff in In the Valley of Elah and it made what could have been fantastic films have a preachy undertone to them.

It can't be that bad.Danny Boyle can do a lot better than some of the other Bonds director.I won't mind seeing what he can bring to the mix.
