Default Quality loss? When Backing up blu-ray On disc

Hi, i have couple of blu-ray movies that i want to backup. So before buying a Blu-ray burner drive and recordable blu-ray disc. Is there any video or quality loss? Or Is it the same like the originals? Thanks guys in advance.

Okay, I won't mention any "websites, techniques, software and any and all methods" here then, but to answer the question of the TS (Topic Starter): NO, no loss in quality.

Remember though, that in most countries in this world (including mine), it is perfectly legal to make a back-up of your own(!) physical or digital belongings (books, software, discs, etc) that you do not share with persons or organisations outside your family (including up/down 1st bloodline).


Edit: Oh, and by the way, the TS did not mention that it concerns copy-righted/protected materials; it can just as easily be his own recorded Blu-ray movies (e.g. on a Hitachi Blu-ray camcorder) that he wants to back-up.
