Default Dreamworks Animation turns 20...no releases?

So, Katzenberg made a big deal about his baby turning 20 at Cannes, but remaining unreleased with no planned release are:

Antz, Prince of Egypt, Road to El Dorado, Sinbad, Chicken Run, Wallace & Gromit, Flushed Away, Over the Hedge and Shark Tale.

5 of those were released as a multi-set DVD release along with the Blu-Ray release of Spirit, which was also a complete non-event, this year. The review was up weeks after it was released, it had no fanfare and nothing new on it and I have no idea what it was to tie into, the year of the horse? (Along with 2-3 other horse-related releases this year...I mean what the hell?)

Now, Mr Peabody still has no release date and they do have Dragon 2 and Penguins of Madagascar coming this year. There is still hope, I suppose, that they could come up with a couple releases to tie-in with the release of Peabody and Dragon 2 and the opening of Penguins. Maybe they might reissue some of their already released films with anniversary slips, but that might be excessive and somehow, I feel, if they did go ahead with that, none of the unreleased will see the light of day this year.

Suggestions?
-Prince of Egypt could be released alongside Exodus in December.
-Road to El Dorado/Sinbad could be released alongside it as a double pack.
-Over the Hedge/Antz/Shark Tale could be released alongside Peabody/Dragon 2 Blu-Ray
-Flushed Away/W&G/Chicken Run could be released in a similar triple pack as the DVD.

Out of those films, the Aardman films are great, and it is sad to see them rotting away in Dreamworks coffers for no reason. Personally, I do have fond memories of both OTH and Shark Tale so would look forward to those as well.

Anyone else interested in these films?

Would pick up Over the hedge ,not a big fan of animated movies but enjoyed that one.
Ironically when I recently watched X men: days of future past I was reminded of this film by Quicksilver and the squirrel in this movie, too funny

What ever happened to the triple feature Blu-ray reported some time back that was to have Sinbad, Road, and one other film? Thought it was to be available when "Spirit" was released.

Dvd only. Wow, and I thought Disney had a screwed up marketing department!

So they even had a 20th Anniversary trailer?!? It was premiered at Cannes.

Saw Dragon 2 and unlike Peabody, they had 20 with the Dreamworks logo.

In the trailer, definitely saw:

Antz, Flushed Away, Shark Tale, Over the Hedge, Wallace & Gromit and Chicken Run. There's definitely one of Sinbad or Road to El Dorado but as I have not watched both, I don't know which.

Monsters Vs Aliens, Spirit, Bee Movie, How to Train Your Dragon, Mr Peabody, Rise of the Guardians, the Croods, Puss in Boots, Madagascar 2/3, MegaMind, Shrek the Third, Shrek 2 and Turbo were all there too of course. Don't know if I saw KFP2, Shrek, Shrek 4, Madagascar...a bit difficult to differentiate those. Didn't see Prince of Egypt though.

Uhhh, Dreamworks released their first movie (The Peacemaker) in 1997 and their first animated movie (Antz) in '98, so where's this "20th anniversary" thing coming from?

The studio was founded in October 1994.

Maybe they are going back and censoring out all the unsavory behavior like Disney does. Can't be corrupting us vulnerable adults who are unable to counsel our impressionable children regarding harmful activity!

DWA said that it has bought from Paramount distribution rights to its feature films prior to 2013. They’ll now all be handled by Fox.
Now that Dreamworks Animation will eventually have all of their releases under one distributor, maybe we will see Fox releases some of the DWA titles (such as The Prince of Egypt) on BD.

Hmmm...hope we see some by the end of the year.

Dreamworks are under a lot of shit now though.

Would like to see them get out Over the Hedge, Road to El Dorado, Shark Tale etc and Aardman features. Probably will see only like one though.

True, being a independent Animation studio with animation in house is very expensive. Just ask Studio Ghibli (which is rumored to consider closing). It's a shame, and DWA is trying to diversify but it remains to be seen whether it will work.

And there are now reports that Japanese communications company Softbank (which controls Sprint in the US) is interested in buying Dreamworks Animation SKG.

Still nothing.

Disney/Pixar had like 40 more films to release and are nearly done.

This and the Prince of Egypt should have been released on BR ages ago. Perhaps they are afraid people will watch the classics and realize the joke of an animated studio they've become.
