will this show go blu? hope this hasn't been asked already. i would love to see it.

Probably not for a while. I think they want to get shows that are more worthy of the high-def treatment out there. I gotta say though, IMO, I don't think Steve Carrell is all that funny when he is the leading man. Now, when he was Evan Baxter to Jim Carry's Bruce Almighty, he was funny because he didn't need to draw that much attention but now he does and I just don't think he does that well enough.

The DVDs look fantastic upconverted, not gonna lie! I love watching them. Plus, none of those silly black bars!!

Man, I hope so! I would love to watch this show on blu, especially because I missed the first few episodes before I started watching religiously.

Matter of opinion.. his movie roles since 40-year old virgin haven't been that funny, but his role in the Office suits him to a tee and he makes me piss my pants laughing... the Office is probably the funniest show since Seinfeld for me. I will definitly buy it on blu. And since they record it in HD, i'm sure the blu isn't too far around the corner.

I agree for the most part but in my mind 30 Rock has surpassed The Office (although The Office finale was great). I think 30 Rock is the closest to my favorite sitcom of all time, Arrested Development...

that was a much better, Office finale, than last season. 30 rock, is also a great show.

You know what you gotta respect is Steve Carrell having as active a movie career while still starring in his own tv show. I do like the Office, the interactions of Jim and Dwight hurt my sides and most of the other characters are funny but I just don't find Carrell funny.

well the dvd release date for season 4 is in september, the same month season 5 starts. i dont think it will be out for a while but i will buy it the minute its out

carrell isn't supposed to be funny, your supposed to feel sorry for how stupid and annoying he is. That is his character and he plays it perfectly.
