Question on HMV UK Shipping - Blu-ray Forum

Hey guys i didnt know were to put this but, i wanted to know if anyone here has ordered from HMV UK? the reason i ask is because i placed a order of 3 movies at the same time and selected the same shipping medthod and for some reason i just got the email confirming that only 1 blu has shipped and the other 2 not yet but yet it shows they are in stock... so my question is why the heck would HMV ship one movie at a time if i live in Florida. That makes no sense. i am pissed

because that means i am going to get 3 seprate boxes just for the movies and at differnet times when i ordered all same time and day!

I wouldn't worry about that. I have ordered from Amazon.ca 3 movies same time day and received 3 separate packages for one reason or another. It happens. Look at it this way, it's like Christmas coming 3 times instead of once :-) opening packages is fun so you are getting fun x 3 :-)

They always ship one movie at a time. Has something to do with shipping fees, or something or rather.

Could be the packaging, the standard one they use only fits one or two BDs.

Or for customs reasons, some European countries have import limits which usually adds taxes & fees if you have several BDs in a single shipment.

But it's my experience as well, HMV UK always ship separately.

Amazon.com once shipped two Blu-ray sets on the same package instead of separated, neat.
