Problem with jumping screen - Blu-ray Forum

Hey im having a problem with my screen when i play Call of Duty 3, the top quarter of the game screen appears at the bottom and there is a constant flicker.. i have played several other games and not had this problem..
does anyone have any suggestions that might help?

jeez...that really sucks. i would take the game back and try a new one.

The only time I've seen this in video, is when:
1) There's a copy protection on the disc and you're running the signal into a recorder like a PVR before it hits the monitor.

2) The monitor is not synching properly because of different display rates.

If you pull the disc out and without turning the unit off, you try another disc or two, they play fine and then pop back in COD and it still screws up, usually the only reason why a disc would do that is because it's a bad copy. If you bought it new, re-check your output rez along with the display rez. Try bumbing down from 1080p to 1080i and see if the issue is still there.
