Cant get my KURO to turn on - Blu-ray Forum

I just got my KURO from BB. I cant get it to turn on. I keep hitting the "stand by" button. I get nothing!! I looked on the back of the TV and I see a red light flashes on for a moment. Then I get nothing. The TV wont turn on..... HELP!!!

There's a hidden master switch behind the TV. You have to press on that. The same thing happened to me when I got my kuro...freaked me out for a sec!

There's a picture of where it's at. It's not just a small button & you almost have to click it up it's the main power that's why. It's there you have to know, you can feel it , use 2 fingers to switch it on or off like the PS3's main power. It's not where the USB port is. It's at the bottom left hand side of the 5020.

Your not an idiot, it's just new to you. The only dumb question is the one not asked (I know that was said a million growing up) times. I'm glad you got it going . Every other TV you see will be halfasz when compared to your kuro.

no worries + at least you didn't give up and return it. I saw on Amazon.com where someone left a negative review & returned this set because they couldn't turn it on! Now that's an idiot

This happens so much more than you can comprehend. Luckily, I've been reading all the forums and this has come up quite a bit so I knew what to expect when mine was finally delivered.
