Red Alert 3 for the Playstation 3 is coming out March 24th.

I'm so unbelievably pumped for the game. I love RTS games but have a crappy PC. I played it at a friends and it's an INCREDIBLE game. The three factions play out completely differently, every single unit in the game is very powerful. So you can pursue a huge number of different strategies and still do well.

So I'm looking for a good deal on it, to let me preorder and get atleast $8 off the retail price.

Can we play RA3 with the normal controller? Its gonna be tough!

They actually did an exceptional job with the controls.

You can literally do every single thing that you can do in the PC version of the game with the controller, and do most of the things faster than you do with the pc version of the game!!!

I downloaded the demo. Yes, it takes a little while to figure out what all the different key combos are. But once you do, it feels extremely natural.

I don't miss KB+Mouse at all. It's nice being able to sit back on the recliner and do everything just the controller without having to fumble around with so many different keys.

I tried the demo today, its been a long while since I last played Red Alert. I couldnt get the engineer to "repair" the turrets. When they went in, the turrets were still damaged and not usable. Is that normal?

Also, is there a Force Attack Key?

By force attack, do you mean attack move? If so, simply double tap the x button and they will kill anything on the way.

You don't need an engineer to repair a structure.

Go to the command menu, and use the scroll wheel to go to symbol taht looks like a wrench and says repair mode. Click that, then click on what you want repaired.

Engineers have other roles...

They capture oil derricks which gets you tons of cash.

They take control of enemy structures so you can sneak one in during the middle of an attack and take your opponents mcv or war factory and screw them over.

When loaded into a multigunner jeep, the jeep becomes an uber repair unit that repairs all other vehicles including itself around it. I used this often during battles.

I played it yesterday, wiped out every single enemy leaving only me and my ally but the mission wasnt complete. I have No Idea what happened.
Force Attack-- I meant for example if u wanted to kill off your own soldier.
I think Im off topic here so I better discuss something here--whats so ULTIMATE about this edition?
