Default Going Broke in May

Starting at the end of April and into May, there are some nice releases to buy. I hope I have enough money left over for food.

T2 - skynet edition
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly
Star Trek- the original motion picture collection
Hellraiser
X-men 1 and 2
Bug's Life
Monsters Inc.
Rounders

I got this cool new job starting soon but the downside being that I will be rather short on time for myself so I'll be keeping my Blu expenses to a minimum.

Yep, that's gonna set you back a few bucks. Fortunately for me the only one I must have out of that list is T2, although I am considering the double-dip for Monsters (already own the DVD, but the wife has a tough time with me double-dipping on the kids' movies).

I'll save you over $100:

The T2 thing isn't going to be worth $100 over the existing version.

Isn't the Skynet version only $20 on Amazon?

I saw a version w/ some toys that was over $100, that's what I was thinking of.

It there is a version w/ improved PQ and AQ for $20 then its worth it. If it doesn't have those things then it isn't for me.

Honestly, you need to get your priorities straight. You don't need to buy all those movies in one month. They will always be there. And don't you know how to budget your money? Honestly.....

Do you know a joke? Honestly....
I have 31 Blu-rays. I am pretty sure I am not the guy going broke buying discs. I'm still waiting for many, many discs to fall in price. I will probably just but TGTBaTU when I get a chance, I never preorder from amazon.

My (bad) joke about going broke was to make a point that many movies that are worth buying are all coming out in May.

I believe most people, even the very wealthy, don't dropped 300 every month on discs. My wife would kill me if I did. (Not really. That's just a figure of speech )

I totally agree but why do you need it on the first day of release.I usually wait a few week and you can usually find the same title cheaper than when first release.

You know, more and more libraries are starting to carry blu's. Free rentals, pretty nice? I think so.

Not every month.

I need to find cheaper hobbies. All of mine wind up draining my free cash. But on the plus side I always have something to keep me busy while waiting for the next check.
