I bought a Sony BDP - S350 Blue Ray player this weekend and hooked it up with my surround sound system (Panasonic SC-PT960). While the picture looks great, the sound is very bad. I have 6 movies total, and only 1 (Top Gun) actually has great sound, the others i have to crank up to 50 to get a decent sound, and even then it still sounds bad.
Anybody have any idea why this is happening? I did notice on the back of Top Gun it was listed as DTS where as the other movies were not, does this make any difference? Also my setup is HDMI from the tuner to TV, then HDMI cable from Blue Ray to TV, and Optical Cable from Blue ray to Tuner. Any help would be appreciated. |
