I'd pick "Carlos." The pace was much faster due to his various network connections and cohorts, plus I always thought the character (solely based on the film alone) was more flawed yet incredibly intelligent. I'm always fascinated with linguistics and the constant switching from English to Spanish to French to Japanese to Arabic just gave the film a more "international" flavor. I would compare "Carlos" to Spielberg's "Munich."
Kind of felt that "Che" was a little bit of a letdown since I expected a bit more from Steven Soderbergh. The jungle scenes in Bolivia felt very slow and thought there were several aspects in Che Guevarra's life that wasn't covered. |

Another vote for Carlos. With all the internantional settings and fast paced storyline, your attention is required.
![]() Being Cuban and brought to the US by my parents due to the remnants of the Castro / Che revolution, I may be a bit biased here too. ![]() |
