online, you regularly get smacked by people who have 500 victories and 100 losses ; what I don't like is you don't know your opponent ranking - sometimes it's better not playing them and having fun with weaker ones

difficult to say, extension 2 and 3 killed some naughty decks, but you still find people with too many ultra rare

wow, sweet board!

i played this a little bit, but i really need to buy some more packs of cards first before going online, and as far as trophies go, are they all online based? i cant seem to see where the specific types of matches you have to win to get the trophies are available on the single player menu, and i avoided playing online since like i said i dont think i really have the cards to compete with other human players

some of the trophies looks like you have to play against starter decks, which means spending more money. lol. not sure about the rest. i haven't touched this game since the first series, so i'm way behind the curve vs. people with series 2 and 3.

yeah that kinda put me off that you have to buy the other 2 series for like $20 or $30, i dont remember, but i already spent money on the game and thats like buying another half of a game and who knows if they are going to release another series you have to buy to keep up, not to mention buying all the cards, and i think i was just in a bad mood in general because i went to start this game up and had to wait hours upon hours to download the update which i assume is all the new cards and animations for them and stuff, so i was like WTF! gonna try to get into this again though, how many people on this site play?

only online trophy is "win lots of matches" or something, all the others are against the computer decks that unlock as you beat them

where do you go to do that? do you have to select the match from somewhere or change it in the settings what you are playing against, or do you just start a match against a computer opponent and you just earn them as you play?

you choose : Battle arena, Player vs Comp, choose "register deck" and a deck of your choosing from the ones you registered, then on the lower part choose "normal" (or higher - never tested that), then "pre constructed decks", under you'll have the first five elemental decks which will give some bronze trophies, beating them will unlock other decks on this line, some having some conditions to victory (don't kill any creature, kill all creatures ...), each victory will give you a trophy and a new deck to beat.
Tricky thing is you'll have to create different decks for some challenges (ex : deck with no spells, deck with lots of damage to win fast), good thing is it will make you discover new strategies).

Hope I was clear enough.

that actually does help a lot, i wasnt sure where to look to set it up in the different configurations needed to earn each trophy, like i said i didnt look too much because it took so long to download the update all i wanted to do was play a few matches and see what the game was about, now ill be able to go back and work on getting the different trophies for this, thanks!

so i redownloaded all the updates for this onto the new hard drive and was going to try playing again tonight, but i was wondering, how hard do you think it would be to win some of these matches for the trophies against the computer opponent with just the starter deck that comes with the game?

you should be able to beat the first decks (earth, fire, ...) but for the others you often have to change the deck content as there are conditions to victory : no spells, kill opponent in 10 turns, occupy 5 biolith spaces (very hard as you have to turn 4 to make them become Biolith), kill all creatures ... but sometimes luck has its part in it too.
