Default Purple dots and long wake up

watup?

First of all, nice place you guys got here. I've been reading some forums and this one looks very nice and with people who apparently know what they are talking about. Now that I have pretended to be polite ( ;P )here goes my problem:

I have a LNT4066FX/XAA (SAMSUNG plasma 40'')for about 15 months now.
on the last 2 to 3 months I've notice a increase on the time it takes to turn it on after been out for a while, also at the same time most of the time I turn it on after been off for a while i shows random purple dots (pixels) on the screen if I turn it off and on again it's ok and it work fine until I let is off for a while.

points of interest: I live in Orlando Florida, Humidity here is as high as it gets (any higher we would need gills) but the A/C in on all the time, and also, it's winter, witch shouldn't be a problem since I'm in "sunny Florida".

I appreciate any help/guidance you guys can help me with.

Thanks in advance
