I loved the remake...but which last house on the left did u enjoy more

I thought that the first on one was by far superior. Most of the time the first is better. If it wasn't it wouldn't be remade.

The remake for movies nowadays was rather on the top end I would say in terms of recent horror movies getting back to their roots. It had its moments not as grisly as the first one but it did have a rape scene as well as other decent imagery. All in all I would say this is one of the better remakes to date, but it still seems as though they can't think of a new idea to save horror movies nowadays. I mean they just throw in different things that were in other movies...I could see how this movie would've been awful had Wes Craven had not still been attached. But if you haven't seen the remake GO SEE IT! You shouldn't be dissapointed!
