Default Format Wars Update: Sentinels vs. Pirates

Format Wars Update: Sentinels vs. Pirates

http://www.tvweek.com/page.cms?pageId=743

HD-DVD currently has the Matrix trilogy exclusive for a few months and BLU-RAY has the Pirates films exclusive. Later this year Warner plans on releasing Matrix for BLU-RAY once PIP is finalized for BD-Java. Now Disney is 100% exclusive to the BLU-RAY format and as long as that fact remains the Pirates movies will never appear on the HD-DVD format.

Just like they firmly stood behind using component on their xbox 360 vs. the "not-so-good" HDMI connector.
