I just read about this game and I think it looks great. Does anyone have any solid info on this? Or think you will be picking it up? I'm pretty sure I will, as it comes out in early March... Just curious of peoples impressions...

I'll be grabbing this, it will hold me over until a new Ace Combat for PS3...
Its about time we get a decent air combat game.

Ace Combat has just always been my fav series of mine since Air Combat on PS1.
Hawx looks great, but if Namco hasn't started working on one I like to assume it will end up being better, and PS3 exclusive would be best as they use to be up until their last title on 360.

hmmnn very curious. I only played Ace Combat 4 and i remember thinking it was really easy, but that was a long time ago so as far as fighter pilot games go, im kinda in the dark.. Id actually like to see a more realistic flight simulator type of one... i think that would be cool...

Man, I totally forgot about this series... I'd buy a new PS3 installment no problem.

I was told that Ace Combat went exclusive to Xbox.. that's why PS3 didnt get the most recent one that come out in late November!!
I hope thats not true, but.....

Ive heard about this New Tom Clancy game but thats about it.. anyone have a link?

I hope this game rocks. The controls have got to be super smooth. I think cause it is a Clancy game it will at least be a little above par, but I am hoping for excellence.

AC6 went to the other system because that was the only system out, and they really wanted to publish the game. or at least, thats what they said. which is interesting, because to me it seems that if you are in a big hurry to get the 6th game in a series out, it means you are trying to get the 7th game out quickly too. well, its been awhile and not even a word about AC7. kinda makes me wonder why they acted like their pants were on fire for AC6.

i might get this game, but im worried that it will just let me down and not be able to compare to the AC's. maybe ill just rent it to play it safe

I picked this game up and can't wait to play it! I am at work now. I played the demo on the PS3 and PC both look amazing and the gameplay and effects are amazing! I know it's an arcade type game, but the eye candy is very nice!

I'm just hoping someone will make a flight sim game that isn't stupid easy. I love the genre, but I feel it's been ruined because every single game is push-button-to-auto-win.

Just once I'd like to play a game where I actually had to fly scissors in a dog fight.

I played the demo this past week and I like the realism (albeit the 80+ missile loadup on a F-16 is the realism-breaker heh) of the combat planes (F-16's, Su-27 Flankers, A-6 Intruders, MiG-29's?!? HECK YEAH). I've been with the Air/Ace Combat series since the first one on the first Playstation, so I've been disappointed to not see an incarnation of the franchise of the series on the PS3 and this game looks like it might be a potential replacement until the Playstation sees the Namco franchise once again. The use of digital satellite imagery for the Rio de Janeiro combat zone graphics is breathtaking, which gives me more of the realism I've been looking for that the Ace Combat series hasn't had.

The demo loses points for not having the A-10 in it...

I like this game alot and figured Id bump this thead since it has an official title as opposed to the "Deal" one recently talked in.

I ran through this game pretty quickly only because I was GLUED to it the first day I bought it. There was a few things that bummed me out about it, but they were nothing major. I bought it for that other system, so i've been playing on that other online service and think its a great game.
