Default Harmony Remotes

I am very scared to purchase one of these remotes as I am not sure they will work for everything I need to run.

I have a sony s350 blue ray...I would just want the chapter, fast forward, and menu options on this

Sony bravia tv, I just want it to turn on, thats it for it

direct tv hd dvr...I would want all the functionality here especially using the guide with paging up and down, fast forwarding, pausing, etc, recording, easy to get to recorded items is a must

denon avr 1690 or something like that, not sure...but It has quick select buttons on the receiver that allow me to go to tv, video game, dvd, and tuner...this is a must. Volume is a must also, the rest I don't care that much about.

Can someone put my mind at ease and tell me this will all be possible? I don't want to spend upwards of 100 dollars on a remote and then still end up having to use more than 1 remote all the time.

yep.

Press Watch TV
Turns on TV, Turns on Receiver, Turns on DVR
Volume buttons are programmed for AVR
Channel buttons programmed for Cable box/DVR
FF RW PLAY etc all for DVR

Press Watch Movie
Changes input on AVR
FF RW PLAY etc all control blu-ray functions now.

You can assign everything through drop down menus. go to logitech.com and take the software out for a test drive. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised

What else you want to know?

Which model to get is my next question, you made it sound like I want one

I'd like to spend no more than 100 dollars if possible.

I have this one . I've also played with 880's and 550's. I'm happy with mine. You have plenty of options. Even more if you don't mind factory refurbs

On this part... no problem. Most also have screens which you can assign (and label) between 4 and 8 other functions. Then there is a 'Next' page which can bring you more and more pages of assignable functions.

EVERYTHING is assignable. If there's a button for it, you can program it (from any IR remote).

Upstairs, my pops has a 46" XBR3, Bose 3-2-1, DVR and Sony S-350. Your gear won't be a problem.
