Has there been any type of announcement about this movie possibly making its way into the Big Blu? Definitely top 5 all-time, IMO. It'd be great to add this one to the Blu collection along with powerful stories such as Blood Diamond and Apocalypto.

Yeah. Foreign film in general has be lacking. This film is great. It deserves to be mentioned in the same breath as any of the great american or asian gangster films.

It's on my top 10 movie list of all times. There is a rumor that 'City of Men' from the creators of 'City of God' is coming to BD this summer, it's a Buena Vista movie and if we are lucky it could be accompanied by 'City of God'...

Lets get our hands together and pray...

Thanks for the heads up, my copy just shipped. I absolutely adore this flick....easily one of the best of all time IMO. Looks like a good upgrade from my DVD in terms of picture and sound.

it's great. PQ and AQ are both splendid. Import it. Can't imagine a US release being much better.

It does look pretty nice, and I have been holding off purchasing it as I thought there might be a US release, but it doesn't seem like there will be? So I will try and purchase it sometime.
