Default Finding Nemo and the first two Shreks on Blu-Ray soon???

Hey guies. Will anyone know when "Finding Nemo" will come out on Blu-Ray. I love that movie. And also when will the first two "Shrek" films come out on Blu-Ray? Anyone know? I know that "Shrek the Third" is already out on Blu-Ray but I'm also waiting for a trilogy pack.

As far as Shrek 1 & 2 go, they probably won't be released until the 4th movie comes out. Which is sometime next year, supposedly May 21 2010.

Finding Nemo will probably be next year also, haven't heard anything about that. But I'm surprised it hasn't already come out, or have a release date yet.

Pixar has to stagger their releases to maximize sales since they have so few movies, which is why I'm surprised they're releasing Monsters Inc and Up on the same day.

Yeah that's true. They probably should have waited to release the one. I think when Toy Story 1 & 2 will have high sales though.

Who cares if they release 2 on the same day and don't stagger them all. Just get them out there and people will buy them up. Doesn't matter when or if they are the only release that day.

Ratatouille and Cars came out at about the same time.

Wall-e and the Pixar Shorts too.

Monster's Inc. was supposed to be paired with A Bug's Life but Monster's got delayed to pair it with Up.

I can't wait for Finding Nemo. IMO, one of the best of Pixar, should look absolutely stunning with all those colours of the coral reef.

I feel like that's not right... I think it would be BEFORE Shrek 4 comes out. Like shows do, they come out on DVD/Blu-ray usually a month before the new season starts. Maybe I'm wrong, but that doesn't sound right to me. Why would you put out three movies around the same time and end up probably being expensive. No one wants to pay that much.

Actually, it happens for films a lot.

Star Trek: The Motion Picture Collection and Star Trek: Motion Picture Trilogy both came out on 5/12/2009. Star Trek '09 came out on 5/8/2009.

X-Men Trilogy and the individual Blus were released April 21st with X-Men Origins: Wolverine following on May 1st.

Even movies that are not sequels to one another other but from the same studio/filmmakers are released close to together.

A Bug's Life from Pixar was released on May 19th with Up released on May 29th.

That's what I mean though, it came out BEFORE the movie came out in the movies. So why would the Shrek Blu-rays come out around the same time the fourth movie comes out on DVD/BD? They would come out before the movie is even playing. Which is said to be in May.

Well...

There is Warner's releases of 300: The Complete Experience on the same day as Watchman: Director's Cut.

Plus Universal's stand alone BD releases of The Fast and Furious films along with Fast & Furious.

Pixar's Monster's Inc. is being released the same day as Up too.

Oh, and there was the MGM James Bond bombshell of Quantum of Solace, The World Is Not Enough, Moonraker, Goldfinger, and Never Say Never Again all on March 24th of this year! You could save some cash with the James Bond Volume 3 BD collection but you still had to buy QOS and NSNA seperately.

Then there are the studios cashing in on other studio releases like Friday The 13th Part 2 and Friday the 13th: Part 3 on BD the same day as the 2009 remake of Friday the 13th.
