xbox 360 forum - Blu-ray Forum

I'm sure this has been brought up before, but I couldn't find a thread about it. Since there is a ps3 forum, I think it's only fair that the 360 fans get a forum too. I know the first assumption people are going to jump to is it's going to cause nothing but flame wars, but I really don't think it will. Owning both consoles, and being a fan of both, it's really hard for me to visit the ps3 forum to discuss games, only to see nothing but "that other console we don't talk about" and RRoD nonsense every 5 minutes, and I have to bite my tongue and ignore it. This is supposed to be a community of mature people, and I would like us to have the chance to prove it, and be able to discuss another console that is capable of HD media.

to me, the first assumption would be less about flame wars and more about the actual format. bluray.com backs bluray movies and games. the xbox 360 supports neither, and therefore such discussion has been relegated to off topic

I just feel it would be a decent fit since even though it's not bluray, the 360 does offer HD content, but I do understand your point.

It has been brought up before, and the request has been denied.

I think the general feeling is that the 360 doesn't have a Blu-Ray drive, so it really doesn't deserve a section here.

now a subforum is up to the admins, but from past responses it will only be done is they in-cooperate a BD drive since this a blu-ray site. Now this is off past responses as we are ever evolving so you never know

Like Detroit said basically. Now if Xbox had some sort of Blu-ray stuff on it then I could see that. Now the next question would be, "Well what about the PSP?" Well, umm, you can use it as a remote?
