Would like to see a release of Iceman (1984) someday. I thought the movie was amazing.

ICEMAN was a great movie its in my top 10 favorite movies of all time list.....the scenery is amazing...and this movie definitely deserves a BLURAY release....I mean c'mon they put some of the worst movies in the world on BLURAY and not this underrated gem of a movie.....lets goooo I want a BLURAY of 1984's ICEMAN right now.

Director Fred Schepisi has to be one of the most underrated filmmakers out there (The Devil's Playground, Barbarosa, The Russia House, Roxanne, Six Degrees of Separation, A Cry in the Dark, etc.) and Iceman is one of his best films. It's an insult that Ian Baker's frequently striking 2.35 widescreen compositions are butchered on the 1.33 (!) domestic DVD. Bruce Smeaton's haunting score is a beauty as well.

My indignation isn't going to get this a Blu release, but it's somewhat cathartic to vent!

This would be a Day 1 for me. Great, touching movie.

It was hard enough to find a DVD out there in WIDESCREEN. I'll bet it would look incredible on Blu.
