Default First 2000nit OLEDs

The first 2000nit OLEDs are about to become available to the general public. Not in the form of large displays, but in the form of some of Apple's newest devices, the iPhone 14 Pro and Apple Watch Ultra. Both will be available later this month.

Samsung displays not apple, the real question is will it have the dreaded pulse width modulation flicker (PWM) like its other small OLEDs have. No amount of nits is worth having a PWM display. The following says it will have PWM:

And yes a lot of apple products buyers hated the PWM.

Isn't Samsung Apple's biggest rival in the mobile business?

Interesting.

I currently have Samsung S22, and I do love it. HDR viewing and recording is pretty good, though for recording I can only record in HDR10+. Haven't used color grading tools except for what is in my camera app though, and that is to adjust the exposure, contrast, saturation, etc...
