Default Disney Is Doing It Right!

I must say, so far I am thoroughly impressed with Disney and the way they are releasing their items. All excellent titles with PCM soundtracks. Very nice.

POTC1
POTC2
Narnia

Etc, etc. Very nice Disney! Keep it up.

Yup, they're doing a great job with the most important bit, the A/V. My only complaint is they're spoiling their coverart with the silver swoosh.

I agree, everything that Disney puts out is top notch. I can't wait for more Pixar stuff such as Finding Nemo and The Incredibles. These titles should really help win over the soccer moms.

Any idea when Disney plan on releasing some of their animated feature films such as lion king or Aladin?

Not soon enough.

Right now, Disney is leading the pack on how to do BD all the way IMO.

I agree. Disney is #1! You have to search deep to find anything to complain about with Disney. Plus their Blu-ray disc are reasonably priced too.

Yep...Disney/Buena Vista are really doing a great job, from Chicken Little to The Prestige, their discs are top-notch.

I'm pretty impressed the job Sony is doing too...they have a steady stream of releases in all genres, and they've gone around the world to collect some excellent movies (Volver, Warriors of Heaven and Earth, Curse of Golden Flower)...now if they can fix up the encode of House of Flying Daggers....

enjoy

Default Harry Potter NOT Disney's

I would especially welcome the Harry Potter series, but they are a Warner title--NOT Disney.

With the wealth of titles that Warners is releasing, I would expect them to release the Harry Potter titles.

It's funny how Disney has two BD's for both Pirate movies, so we can compare the 480i SD to 1080p HD. However, I haven't compared the two yet. Anyways, I agree that they're doing a great job. (Hopefully it won't be similar to their DVD releases where they eventually re-release special editions for no reason).
