The Marine 4 is on Now tv at the mo so I took a look and personally I was pleasantly surprised. It's much better than 2 and 3, almost as good as the first one.

The Miz was pretty darn good. He did a much better job than number 3. It's now a guilty pleasure. Got it for 8 euros off Amazon.de in case anyone in the UK is interested and didn't fancy importing the US disc.

Just watched this, possibly the best of the series. Still completely over the top and ridiculous, but really well made over the top and ridiculous. Fantastic transfer, and a nice loud soundtrack. Wish they would include a few more extras next time. (And according to IMDB, there will be a "next time"; The Marine 5: Battleground is set for release in 2017.) Fun little action movie, great way to spend 90 minutes of your weekend.
