Default UK: Mission M71 Speakers?

I found a pair of Mission M71 bookshelf speakers locally for $80 for the pair. I need some rear speakers, and they look nice. I know that they are about 10 or 12 years old, but the seller says that they are high end from the UK and the review he gave me, below sounds good. I am wondering if I should go out and demo them? Is anyone familiar with these speakers? Thanks for the help!

Here is the review that I found:

Mission speakers are good and well respected in the audio community - what are your main speakers now?

I have Polk Monitor 70s and a CS2, and I went to this guys house, and he had an amazing selection. I demoed about 15 different pair of bookshelf speakers, and I ended up getting a differet pair of Missions, in perfect condition, for $50. They retailed new for $300 a pair, and they sound amazing. Very happy with them! And I got a pair of speaker stands that fit them for $6. Amazing deals.

Mission makes fantastic speakers, and they are really well regarded. It's a shame you don't see them very often in the US. The M71 is a great standmounter.

The more and more I listen to these Missions, the more and more I am in love. The clarity is great and the have great low frequency response. Much better than expected!

The Missions are a better speaker than your current Polks

Oh I know! I expected that, but still very happy overall. The guy who I bought them from is on the lookout for other mission/paradigm speakers for me. But I am really happy with what I did get. Consider the M71's that I got were only $50, you couldn't come close even for $150.

$50 is an absolute steal for a decent pair of M71s. You should feel great about that one.

I thought so! They are immaculate! Even the grills are perfect. I am still so surprised with the bass response coming out of them. The drivers are not that big, but I am getting great amounts of bass during explosions.
