Here's a list of American TV shows not available in America. Would you buy any of these if they were available in America? I'd like that Columbo set.

That '70s Show Complete Series is on Blu-ray courtesy of Mill Creek unless the German has something different about it.

The Killing (sort of) -- S1 is in the US, but not 2-4.

The Bridge is similar -- only S1 in the US.

Hawaii-Five-0 (Remake) Season 4 is out in Germany already. Season 5 is coming out in a few month. Season 2 which was released with Dolby Digital 5.1 only in the US, came out with an English DTS Master HD-Track in Germany. Seasons 4 and 5 have not been released at all in the US.

Season 1 of Seaquest is out in Australia and looks absolutely fantastic.

Only seasons one and three of Prison Break are on blu in the US, while the complete set is available in the UK for quite some time now.

Yeah, I almost bit when some sale or another and favorable exchange rates brought the Columbo set down around $300 US but couldn't quite do it. I'm also tempted to pick up one or two of the two-episode discs that are available now too. When I priced those a month or two ago I think they worked under twenty bucks each.

I was fortunate enough to get the King of Queens set from someone on eBay for half the price. It baffles me that most of these are available outside their original region. I didn't feel like waiting for King of Queens so I bought it. It's an alright set. All of it plays but season 1. It's region locked.

Airwolf germany includes the upconverted season 4 of the series also to make it complete then any other region. Also prison break and eureka look amazing on blu ray i own them both

I have the German complete series set of Eureka from the original post and it's entirely region A friendly. Works on all blu-ray players.

When you plug the discs in, it asks you to select a language. Once you select English, from there the menus and everything are all in English, just like any American blu-ray you would buy.

I believe Columbo is available in HD on Netflix.
