Anybody else here pissed that they cancelled the series. Looked forward to watching every week. It took 3 or 4 episodes to really get into it and again something I liked gets the boot. I liked Eli Stone and Invasion and ABC did it each time to us.

I was starting to like this show myself. Seems like there are a lot of shows getting the ax these days before they can even get established.

its unfortunate but many shows these days if they dont show immediate ratings impact they get scrapped. whereas in the past if they used the same system some of the greatest n longest running tv shows in the history of tv would have been canceled before they really got good and running:

Seinfeld
The X-Files
Stargate SG1

....those are the few that come to mind at the moment, but i'm sure you guys can come up with more

WTF!! I was always into this show and now its gone? They should at least give it a full season. Then if it was a following put it out on blu ray. Sheesh.. no wonder the American way of life is down the toilet.

I know, I was watching it the other night and then a commercial came on saying "only 1 more episode until the series finale" I think I yelled WTF out loud in my living room! I love this show and I'm pissed they're ending it!

Thanks topcop8p7, I watched it on the BBC a few years ago and thought that two series was enough. I am not one for every idea to be milked to death. The BBC then came back with a follow-up series set in the 80's (I think as I missed it). I have no idea what the U.S. version is like, but I thought the series was just OK, not one I would watch again, hence not a blu purchase for me.

I am hoping they give it a blu release . I would buy it. I use to watch CSI New York in that time slot but since I got into Life on Mars I haven't watched at all. Guess I'll be back watching CSI New York after next weeks finale.

I initially liked it but it got cheesy a few times and had immense potential but fell short. Granted, I would love to have this show on instead of Two and a Half Men. Life on Mars had great potential with great actors and a great story, but just didn't quite follow through all the way. Anywho, I am sad to see it go, but not as sad as I was when say: Carnivale was axed...or even Deadwood. Though, those are only HBO shows...not many shows that get the ax on regular tv seems to bother me...or I just can't think of any...hmmm.

There was an earlier thread for Life on Mars https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=82612 where the ending of the show was discussed.

Also I noticed where somone posted buying the Blu-rays for season 1 & 2 https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=78374 but this must be the UK version, which is listed as https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=68168
