Default The "Man I love my LCD TV" thread

Just trying to have some fun here. You can see my TV in my sig, but "man, do I love my TV." Sure it isn't 120hz, it isn't huge, but I am watching the Bulls on WGN and the picture is just AMAZING. Using OTA antenna for HD.

So, do you love your TV? Please share your romance here.

I am with you. I love my TV - a 52 inch LG LCD (52LG70), 1080P, 120hz. I here all the arguments for other sets, but when shopping side by side - I came home with this baby.

46 inch XBR9 here and it's . Too bad the cable sucks here )which is Time Warner cable btw) and the ps3 slim is making games/movies look like crap. I hope this fixes when my High Speed 1.3a Category 2 HDMI cables and my receiver should be done getting repaired this week.

love how sharp my Samsung 55 inch 8000 is.

Getting ready for the Vizio 72 inch LED to come out. My neighbor is almost blind and wants an LED and I think the 72 hanging on his wall will give him a great TV experience.

This is it right here. Whenever i get the itch to upgrade my TV, I go out, look at pics, read reviews (I will only buy a Sony LCD, personal preference) and then I go home, look at my TV and I can't justify the money to upgrade. It just looks to good. I even get compliments when people come over and look at it.

Good thread! I love my tv for sure. Excellent PQ on standard and HD cable movies and shows and it blows me away as far as watching a Blu ray movie goes. Cant say enough about it. I love it so much that it gets dusted everyday. So ya I spoil it rotton!

I will talk to mine.. last night me and the wife got in a fight and were yelling at eachother. I made sure to tell my TV that it wasn't her fault and mommy and daddy just got a little crazy.

I love my Sony 40XBR9 and my receiver, BDV-E300. Bravia sync is such a great feature and it also helps that my TV is 1080p, 240hz and internet accessible. Streaming movies from Amazon and Netflix has never been so easy!

Damm you guys are killing me right now

I just went to PC Richards to view the LN52B750 and the 46B8500

I love how both tv's look

I know the 8500 is the better tv but the damm 46 inch is small to me.

I stood next to it and it looked small compared to the 52b750

the price diff is $500

I know that the 46 inch looks small in a store and would look bigger to me in my house

but the b750 looked hugeeeeee

The question is this

Should I suck it up and get the 46 inch tv which is the local led 8500 from sammy or get the bigger tv that is great as well and cheaper but not an LED which I do like

I love them both but if I were you I would go with the 750. Your getting more TV for the money and the 8500 is still a fairly new (not perfected) tech for Samsung.

I hear you...But the 8500 has been voted the best tv of 09 and it looks fantastic.

I love the LED idea and the slim factor but is 46 inches...i cant afford 55 inches......

Bought a 52" Samsung LN52B630. I was down to that model versus a Panny 50 or 54" G10. Those three were selected for their nice price points. I chose the LCD over the plasma because lots of professional reviews said the G10 is slightly off in the color green, and also had flickering issues when displaying HD content. Absolutely love the PQ on the 52" Samsung LCD.
