You think all the major roles in Ridley Scott's Robin Hood have been filled? Well then you're forgetting the massive importance of William Marshall, a.k.a. the Earl of Pembroke, a.k.a. "a servant to the Plantagenet kings and one of the best jousters of the era."

Yeah, I'd never heard of him either. But William Hurt will be playing him in the movie, which means you'll at least feel the pride of an American taking his place among the Aussies and Brits taking the main roles here. THR notes that the movie just started filming, which means it won't be long before we have some set photos that give us a better idea of exactly what Ridley Scott has in mind here.
