Blu-ray.com GT5 Clan Thread

Thought I'd start a thread where we can all arrange to meet up online and race each other. Let's leave the other GT5 thread for discussion about the game.

Here can swap PSN ID's and arrange organised chaos on the tracks at our disposal!

I haven't even played the game yet, will tonight, and I, like a few of you I'm sure, would rather play offline for a while to get use to the game etc. No probs!

In terms of skill level, I'm not quite sure how that would work? Someone who is more versed in this game can advise if races can be set up with just standard cars or if any car can be used. Can create your own race and invite another 15 players in to the game? Perhaps we can have races some nights with just standard cars and others with premium cars. If you feel you are on a skill level similar to that of another member then don’t be shy and say so! No point getting your ass whipped and finishing last every time - no fun in that! (I'm a beginner!)

Time differences will be a curse no doubt, but we'll cope as best we can.

Perhaps this weekend, we can have a few scheduled races, arranged here. That will give people a few days to get to grips with the game. And then maybe each weekend after that? Get a few 16 player races going! (I'm hoping it's straight forward to set up? )

Suggestions/ideas welcome!!

I should have a few cars by weekend but I don't fancy racing a Lambo online unless damage can be taken off. You always get one muppet who just want's to slam into you.

Steve James- yeah that is something we will have to filter before each race.. Damage on/off etc.. I'm not even sure what the options are for online play, but will check tonight.

Also we cant have premium cars against standard cars because obviously that would be unfair. So a few things to check out before we can have a proper race, hopefully this weekend.

Hopefully we can have online races with karts too?? That would be fun!

I don't think capital letters matter.

I bought the Mitsubishi FTO as my first car but I've won a few others for completing cups tournaments, etc. I haven't actually looked at them yet...

Only a Lancashire bloke could understand all this

I've been sat here at work for 9 hours with a copy of GT5 next to PC monitor. Painfully watching each minute pass knowing that I'll soon be outa' here. Just then my boss asked me if I wanted to do 2 hours overtime......... I nearly fell out of my chair.
